Education meets enjoyment.

As an educator of 8 years and counting, I love watching interest grow into passion. Whether in the classroom or on the river, my goal is to teach about my favorite things. Luckily, fishing is pretty high on that list. When we’re out on the water, I will do my best to not only help you find fish, but to prepare for you for the crucial moment that starts after setting the hook. We can discuss basics such as casting, line type and knots to more advanced lure techniques and everything in between. I can also break down my approach to fishing in still/moving water or how to prep for a tournament if you plan to compete in the future.

Apart from being a fisherman, I am an avid-bowhunter and an enthusiast of everything outdoors. In addition to a love for rivers, mountains have always been a favorite place to spend time and for that reason, I’m a would-be ski addict who lives in the Midwest and only has a chance to escape to real mountain country (sorry, Wisconsin) a few days out of the year. Luckily, my open summers allow me to travel our beautiful country (along with many others) in search of the best waters it has to offer. I often fish kayak tournaments in the summer months, taking me to many new bodies of water and offering many learning opportunities.

My love for travel has fostered a thirst for adventure that translates to my run and gun fishing style. When spring and summer hits, I’m often on the road in search of the best and most secluded fishing spots in the midwest. My past travels have also granted me the opportunity to become a fluent Spanish speaker who now has friends all over the world. If you’re considering a day on the water with me, I’m confident we’ll find some common ground and most importantly, catch some fish.
